
Students from Tinsukia district achieved remarkable success at the state-level Aryabhatta Science Centre Programme held in Guwahati. Competing against participants from across Assam, the students secured top positions in multiple categories, highlighting the district’s growing focus on scientific excellence and innovation.
In the science-based model-making competition, Gitika Sonowal and Akangksha Bora from ABC Junior High School, Borguri, won first prize for their outstanding scientific model. In the innovative idea competition, Rajbir Deori from Modern Academy, Rupai, secured first place with a creative and impactful concept demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Aditya Prasad from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Laipuli, earned second position in the extempore speech competition with an impressive spontaneous presentation on a science-related topic. In the poster drawing competition, Bebika Gogoi from Radhakrishnan Academy, Kakapathar, secured third place by creatively presenting scientific themes through art.
A team of eight students represented Tinsukia at the state-level event, showcasing dedication, preparation, and innovative thinking. Their achievements reflect the district’s commitment to promoting scientific education, creativity, and innovation among young learners.
