The Tinsukia District Commissioner used the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration to set up a state-of-the-art digital learning hub at the Tinsukia District Library. With the ₹20 lakh award money, he created a fully air-conditioned multipurpose learning space equipped with modern facilities such as video conferencing, group discussion areas, Wi-Fi, and up-to-date teaching aids.
The initiative is designed to promote reading, digital learning, and community education, especially for students, job aspirants, and the general public. The facility supports digital access and collaborative learning, bridging the gap between traditional library services and modern educational needs. It was inaugurated in a short time span and praised for its innovative approach to enhancing learning opportunities in the district.
