Politics in Kadapa has once again heated up as the TDP MLA and the former YSR Congress MLA engage in a war of words over development activities and public welfare projects in the region.
The TDP MLA has accused the previous leadership of neglecting key infrastructure issues, including road development, drinking water supply, and employment-related schemes. According to the MLA, several works remained incomplete for years, causing inconvenience to the public.
In response, the former YSR Congress MLA strongly rejected the allegations, stating that major projects like housing, irrigation, and road expansion were sanctioned and completed during their tenure. They argued that the ruling leadership is trying to claim credit for already approved works.
Political analysts say such verbal clashes are common in Kadapa, a region known for intense party competition. With local body elections approaching, both leaders are attempting to showcase themselves as champions of public development.
